How can I become a vendor at the market?
Our application review process is currently on hold. However, we are still accepting day vendors for our waitlist for the 2025 season. You can find the application form here.
When will applications open again?
Applications for the next full season typically open in late winter. Follow us on Instagram or check back on our website for announcements.
How much does it cost to become a vendor or a day member?
All first time vendors are Day Vendors and it is $20 per week.
How do I get a community table?
We invite local nonprofits to represent their organization via our community table. Email us at yanceycofarmers@gmail.com to inquire about scheduling a date.
Market Hours & Location
What are the market hours?
We’re open Saturdays from 830 AM to 12:30 PM, rain or shine, from mid-April through November.
Where can we park?
Parking is available in the Municipal Parking lot next to Fill-More on Main St. Also at Hearth Glass and Homeplace Beer Co. The Homeplace and Hearth lots are only open to customers actively at one of these businesses OR the Farmers Market. Birdfoot is also available for parking. Please DO NOT park along Swiss Avenue or anywhere within the market perimeter, this is for the safety of our customers and vendors.
Where is the market located?
You'll find us in downtown Burnsville, NC, at 322 W. Main St. across from Homeplace Brewery.
Products & Payments
What kinds of vendors or products are at the market?
We feature local produce, meats, eggs, plants, flowers, baked goods, crafts, and more—all grown or made right here in Yancey or adjacent counties.
Do vendors accept cards or SNAP/EBT?
Many, but not all, vendors accept cards. SNAP/EBT is accepted and we offer Double Bucks to stretch your benefits.
