SNAP/EBT

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) is a federal USDA program that provides food benefits to low-income families to supplement their grocery budget so they can afford the nutritious food essential to health and well-being. Our market participates by accepting SNAP benefits so our community members have the option to purchase farm fresh, high quality produce and agriculture products. Fresh fruits and vegetables, food producing plants, honey, meats, cheese and baked goods all qualify.

We also participate in the Double Bucks Program offered through Appalachian Sustainable Agriculture Program, though there are a few more limits on eligible items with the double bucks. This program has a limit over a set time frame and is provided by grants.
